  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced network engineer to join our team. Onsite at City of Chesapeake some travel to other City locations around Chesapeake and some remote work.

Position Overview:
As a network engineer at MDS, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our clients' network infrastructure. This includes working with various networking technologies and protocols such as core, WAN and LAN services, VoIP and WiFi infrastructure, ISP management, and security systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex networking solutions based on client requirements
- Monitor network performance to ensure optimal functionality
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise within the network infrastructure
- Provide support to end-users on various networking-related concerns
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems into existing networks
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including software upgrades and security patches
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technology
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco or Juniper routers/switches/firewalls
