What’s the major objective(s) of the role?

The Research Admin Coordinator, Medical Intelligence is a full time contract responsible for supporting the Senior Medical Intelligence Coordinator in a team-based workflow to identify and profile physicians and providers based on specific clinical needs and patient preferences all while creating a valuable deliverable for a variety of clients. This role assists the team by researching and profiling physicians based on specific clinical scenarios and creating a deliverable for the client’s digestion. Research Associates also provide research across the clinical spectrum – from behavioral health to generalist identification to specialist matching, and complete relevant side projects assigned from the Team Leads of the Medical Intelligence department.

Job Requirements:

• Conduct internal and external research on top physicians and specialists by utilizing diverse and authoritative sources.

• Quality check the advisor request from the member to ensure they’ve gathered detailed information about their healthcare needs, preferences and coverage.

• Maintain and update a database of provider and their service options.

• Regulatory update provider information to maintain high standards of accuracy and relevance.

• Perform interviews with physician offices to confirm specialties and expertise.

• Prepare related written reports for clients.

• Assist Medical Directors with special research projects.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required; interest in medicine and healthcare

• Excellent writing and Internet researching skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong PC skills; MS Office and Internet research experience required

• Demonstrated ability to work well in a deadline driven environment

• Ability to think quickly and respond to urgent requests and changing circumstances

• Professional telephone etiquette and skills required
