Summary:
Position Overview:
The Inventory Control Specialist at Spectra Metals is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate
inventory records, investigating discrepancies, and providing support to our branches. This role requires
attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and collaboration with various teams, including
manufacturing and branch operations. Occasional travel may be required to assist branches with audits
and inventory control tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process and resolve truck discrepancies, ensuring accurate inventory records.
• Investigate and provide email and phone support to branches for inventory control issues.
• Conduct routine and spot audits in warehouses to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist manufacturing operations with inventory control tasks to support production needs.
• Provide branch support as needed, with up to 25% travel required for on-site assistance.
Qualifications:
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Experience in inventory control or warehouse operations preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support branch operations
