The Dover Public Schools located in Morris County, NJ, a PK-12 grade school district serving 3600 students, is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual for the full-time position of Principal for the Dover Middle School.
This is a 12-month- affiliated position.

The successful candidate will possess a vision of opportunity for all students and a leadership philosophy that supports school staff in their work of providing such opportunities for each young learner. Critical to this position is an ability to assess changing needs and promote a culture of responsiveness both programmatically and in relationships with both students and staff. Communication, passion, drive, authenticity, community-building, and reflection all are critical attributes of the incoming Middle School educational leader who is ready to make change and affect the lives of the students, parents, & teachers this leader will serve.
Qualifications
Must hold a Standard NJ Principal Certification or CE
Experience In Both Elementary And Middle School Learning Environment
Previous successful administrative experience, at the building level, preferred
Knowledge in the areas of bilingual and special education instruction
Knowledge of student support services
Prior Title I management and oversight
Experience with the development of school budgets & school schedules
Proficient in use of technology & able to provide instructional technology support to staff
Possess Strong Problem Solving, Decision-making & Communication Skills
Possess a strong ability to lead in a collaborative team environment
