Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the Food & Food Processing industry, located in Carlsbad, California. We are seeking an Infographics Designer, who will be responsible for using their creativity to design engaging and informative infographics. They will also be responsible for fine-tuning their designs and using suitable images, potentially from resources such as iStock.
Responsibilities:
Create engaging infographics based on creative briefs and provided images.
Use creativity to interpret briefs and bring them to life visually.
Utilize resources such as iStock for images, as necessary.
Fine-tune designs based on internal feedback.
Ensure the aesthetic of infographics aligns with the scientific, abstract feel of the industry.
Produce a series of infographics for continued use following trade shows.
Apply skills in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign to create compelling designs.
Use skills in creating Advertisements, Artwork, Banner Ads, Brand Awareness, and Brochures to enhance the overall design.
Ensure all infographics maintain a consistent brand image and style.
Collaborate with the team to ensure the infographics effectively communicate the desired message.
Requirements
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Flash, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
Demonstrated ability to create compelling infographics
Experience in the design of advertisements, banner ads, and brochures
Proven track record of increasing brand awareness through visual design
Ability to create original artwork in line with brand guidelines
Experience in the Food & Food Processing industry is advantageous
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with an eye for aesthetics and visual details
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
A portfolio of completed design projects is required.
