The Merchant team is responsible for the success of restaurants in the Uber Eats marketplace, allowing them to be the best version of themselves and be successful in attracting new eaters, providing a great hospitality experience, and having repeat business.
What the Candidate Will Do
As a member of Merchant Growth, you'll be responsible for a variety of projects, through the lifecycle of the merchant to help merchants be more successful in the marketplace. You'll work closely with engineering, design, data science, and business partners to identify opportunities to help merchants take steps that would make them more successful, and, as a result, make the the Uber Eats marketplace more successful as a result.
This is a very high potential role; Merchant Growth can have a dramatic impact on our restaurant selection and therefore our success in the marketplace. You will develop and execute experiments to test early concepts in order to learn quickly.
Basic Qualifications
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$174,000 per year - USD$193,500 per year.
For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$174,000 per year - USD$193,500 per year.
For Sunnyvale, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$174,000 per year - USD$193,500 per year.
For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits. More details can be found at the following link .

Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years experience working as a Product Manager on consumer growth, ideally at a tech company.
- Experience with UIs and UX experiments and in working with designers & data science.
- Bachelors degree in computer science or similar.
- Prior experience with SMB and Enterprise is key, also having marketplace experience is very nice to have.
- Passionate about building businesses, not features. Entrepreneurial experience building and leading businesses, including ownership and optimization of business performance metrics
- You tackle complex product challenges and simplify them to avoid making them our users' and partner's problems.
