Responsibilities:
  • Collate data from internal and external sources and analyze with a holistic approach to monitor and identify changes in trends.
  • Utilize data and analysis results to make recommendations on what action to take to improve origination quality and quantity based on portfolio and market trends.
  • Summarize analysis results in a simplistic way so that it is easy to understand for other teams, including non-technical teams, and management.
  • Use innovative ways to answer data requests when complete data is not available.
  • Provide business with timely reports and/or data support, along with data modeling solutions to the business to assist in decision-making.
  • Work across the enterprise to continuously improve our understanding of data.
  • Make insightful connections on how to piece together new data sets and drive these as inputs to the Risk team's analysis.
  • Collaboration with other team members and departments/stakeholders is very important.
  • Work with Project teams comprising different departments (such as Sales, IT, Project Management, and external vendors) to make system changes as required to implement changes in originations processes.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in any field with either an emphasis on quantitative analysis or a strong interest in quantitative analysis work.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to tell a story about the data in a meaningful way and convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • At least 2 years of experience with data analysis concepts, intermediate-to-advanced SQL, Python, or SAS.
  • Visualization platforms such as Tableau/PowerBI or any similar visual analytics/reporting tools.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to work on multiple tasks and switch between tasks as required.
  • MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team-building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
