  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Description:

  • These positions are for the governance team - Architecture & Technology.
  • Freddie Mac has recently federated the architecture function out across the line through business and there is a lot of work we are trying to do and build for future vision across the line of business and how governance would look in the future. There is also a movement of our technology management system that would move from its current platform to another one and there is development work related to this as well as some of their processes which move on ServiceNow, building those out, maturing them and building the integrations to the new technology portfolio platform.
  • We have the NRT process which is a ServiceNow application that we implemented to manage our new technology request process and we need someone who can make enhancements to this particular service request.
  • We have a couple of other service requests, we upgraded another one to manage our exceptions and we want to bring the developer and an analyst to help in the enhancements, getting the requirements etc. The developer would be involved in making the changes and upgrading new service requests.
  • Top skills: ServiceNow development, some front end development, familiarity with AWS, knowledge of CICD
  • In terms of technology, Angular and Python are additional requirements as we may be involved in creating small apps which will be hosted in AWS for our governance activities.
  • The application is deployed in AWS which will have Angular based Front end and we may use the underlying database like Postgres or something.
  • Python is nice to have. We may get involved in implementing some additional AI capabilities using the Vector database and we may be pulling all our data in our systems to come up with a ChatGpt based solution to ask some of the technical questions about the governance.
  • Angular or React is fine.
  • Docker, Kubernetes: Need familiarity with these.
  • Day to day: Based on the requirement, the developer would be involved in documenting the system requirements and working with analysts and stakeholders to understand the requirements and do the development.
  • Certification: Basic AWS certification will help.
  • As long as the candidate has sufficient experience in building applications in ServiceNow, we don't need certifications.
  • Some team members would be out for maternity leave and some may be on vacations which is why we need these candidates to fill in.
