Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Databricks Developer Lead. This role will lead a team of six developers who have recently onboarded with Databricks and are new to cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with Databricks, Python coding, SQL, and deployment CI/CD processes. Experience in the healthcare sector and Azure environment is a plus.
The Senior Databricks Developer Lead role is critical for Parkview Health s strategic initiative to enhance its data analytics and cloud capabilities. By leading the team through this transition, standardizing processes, and driving innovation, this role will contribute significantly to improving healthcare outcomes and achieving organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of six developers, providing guidance and support as they transition to using Databricks and cloud technologies.
Standardize development processes and best practices within the team.
Develop and maintain code, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
Utilize Python and SQL for core development tasks.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and develop use cases (5-6 ready for development).
Provide training and support to team members on Databricks and DevOps practices.
Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
Stand up and teach DevOps practices within the team.
Work closely with the team to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
