  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Responsibilities/Typical Day in the Role:

  • Architect, build, and maintain virtual desktop delivery platforms based on business and technical requirements.
  • Administer scalable virtual desktop infrastructures in both private and public cloud environments.
  • Manage Horizon View desktop pools, application pools, and user entitlements.
  • Provide advanced Tier 3 support for complex VDI issues, coordinating with vendors when necessary.
  • Provision and configure Horizon, Unified Access Gateway (UAG), connection servers, and end-user VDI desktop images.
  • Assist in patching and vulnerability remediation processes.
  • Maintain documentation and keep abreast of industry best practices and technology trends.
  • Oversee basic server hardware and storage solutions powering the VDI infrastructure.
  • Participate in application integration design sessions.

Must-Have Skills/Requirements:

  1. VMWare/Omnissa Horizon experience:
    • Expertise in building and maintaining VDI environments.
  2. Windows Desktop/Operating System experience:
    • Skilled in tuning Windows OS for VDI performance.
  3. Cloud Experience:
    • Hands-on experience with Omnissa/VMWare Horizon in Azure environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills/Preferred Requirements:

  1. Experience with vCenter and vSphere ESXi.
  2. Knowledge of scripting/coding automation tools (e.g., PowerCLI, PowerShell, Python, Bash).
  3. Experience with Azure cloud environments and Horizon Control Plane 2.0.
  4. MySQL/MSSQL experience is a plus.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical abilities to optimize and troubleshoot system performance in desktop environments.

Education/Certifications:

  • A Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience is required.
