As the DE&I Leader, reporting to the Vice President of Talent, you will drive the integration and execution of DE&I strategies across the Diagnostics Platform, ensuring consistency and sustainability. You'll work closely with Danaher Corporate DE&I, business leaders, and your team to embed DE&I into every aspect of the business, providing strategic direction and acting as a trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • DE&I Strategy Execution: Lead the implementation of DE&I initiatives and standard work across the platform, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Partnership & Advising: Collaborate with DE&I teams across the platform and Operating Companies (OpCos) to share best practices and drive organizational change.
  • Integration with Talent Teams: Work with Talent Acquisition and Talent Management teams to embed DE&I into the entire candidate and employee lifecycle.
  • Performance Tracking: Regularly report on DE&I progress and representation goals, providing insights to senior leadership.
  • Leadership Enablement: Support OpCo Presidents and regional leaders in building DE&I capabilities using the Danaher DE&I playbook.
  • Model DE&I Values: Ensure People Leaders foster an inclusive environment, modeling DE&I principles aligned with Danaher's Core Values.
  • Platform DE&I Council: Lead the DE&I council to advance the platform's DE&I strategy and escalate issues when necessary.


Required Qualifications:
  • Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to lead DE&I initiatives and influence senior leaders. Experience managing DE&I stakeholder groups and teams.
  • Strategic DE&I Thinking: Expertise in developing and implementing DE&I strategies that drive measurable outcomes and align with organizational goals.
  • Collaboration: Strong ability to partner with business leaders and DE&I practitioners in a global, matrixed organization to ensure alignment and impactful execution.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communicator with the ability to convey DE&I concepts across various levels. Experience in delivering DE&I training and workshops.
  • Analytical Skills: Skilled at analyzing DE&I metrics, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.
  • Building Capability: Focus on increasing DE&I competence across the organization for business and HR leaders.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to staying current on DE&I trends and leveraging internal and external insights to continuously improve DE&I efforts.


Travel: Up to 30% domestic and international travel required

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree with 20+ years of experience in Business, HR, or DE&I, or Master's/Doctoral degree with 18+ years of experience, including 6+ years in a leadership role.

The salary range for this role is $155,200-$243,067. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonincentive pay.
