Summary of the Project: Distribution Design Planning (DDP) project deals with enhancements and change requests related to accounting and operations at SDGE to support daily operations, month-end-close and year-end-close tasks, and reports. Builder services customer portal (BSCP) project construction management services portal to track the work progress of various projects and enable online cash payment service for the completed work.
- Work on Construction Planning and Design (CPD) work types, it includes set up designs, planned & un-planned orders in SAP
- Set up Electric & Gas accounting policies, update accounting treatment determine logic for new business process and materials
- Set up accounting capitalization rules, Complete Service" to be capitalized and "Partial" to be O&M
- Work on Allocation of Planned costs on the Capital Neither CU s to the valid Capital Summarized operations
- In FERC reporting, set up new regulatory indicators and their assignment using Custom tables
- Review accounting nightly jobs and troubleshoot the error, assist super users to fix the corrupt work orders
- Modify the existing Power Plan interfaces from SAP with the custom fields like Billing type, clearing type and planned category
- Responsible to complete following design documents and Update in the Knowledge Transition standard documents as part of the test center of excellence (TCOE) -

- Business process design, systems integration, and application design and management.
- Develop new enhancements for distribution of labor, equipment, and contractor costs to the work order.
- Document the changes in HP ALM and communicate the new process to the business team
- Work on automation test tool to automate new and existing business test scripts
- Design, develop and test construction management services portal to track the work progress of various projects and enable online cash payment service for the completed work
- Set up new Procore integrations for tracking contract services completed by vendor through the 3P Stage Gate process and workflow automation
Tools Required to Perform the Duties :
SAP ECC, AREVA mobile App, Click Mobile App, Power Plan, TM1 App, SAP Solution Manager, SharePoint, SAP ABAP, Micro Focus ALM, Micro Focus UFT, TOSCA, Web Api, iPMP, Web Portal, CDC, Procore, Neptune app, SORT app.
Minimum education necessary to perform the above responsibilities: This position requires a candidate with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information System, information technology, a closely related filed, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor's degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
