Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation, legal research, document preparation, and case management, particularly in the areas of product liability and insurance defense.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery responses.
- Assist attorneys in preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Manage case files and maintain organized records.
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and provide updates.
- Coordinate with other legal professionals and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in product liability and insurance defense.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
