Job Title: Sr Informatica Power Center Developer Location: Bloomington, IL / Remote Duration: 12+ Years

This role can be remote; however, the individual must be able to work in the ET or CT time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
Seeking a highly skilled Informatica Developer to join our Application Development Integration Tools team. The team focuses on integrating on-premises and cloud-based systems which are the core of clients operations.
This senior developer role will act as an ETL development subject matter expert utilizing Informatica Power Center & IDEM with primary responsibilities including designing solutions, translating business requirements, developing, documenting, testing, troubleshooting Client s data environment using our ETL tool sets. In addition, you will be asked to analyze system components to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed.
Follows company software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. Assists in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. Reviews functional requirements, analysis and design documents and provides feedback. Participates in architecture, design and code reviews. Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation. Roles involving code development must receive secure code training each calendar year as required by the US Department. Such training should be based on an established industry guidelines such as the OWASP Secure Coding Guidelines or cover similar content.

Qualifications: Experience developing with Informatica PowerCenter, designing and developing Informatica workflows for enterprise system(s), deployment of Informatica to production environment, and writing scripts to manage/move/schedule files in accordance to Informatica integration.
Minimum 5 or more years of experience working in a medium or large operating environment supporting Informatica.
Minimum 4 years of SQL experience (ability to develop, modify, troubleshoot and optimize complex queries and stored procedures).
Deep understanding of relational/dimensional data modelling and data mapping design, integration, migration and warehousing.
Design and Implementation of ETL solutions with effective design and optimized performance, ETL Development with industry standard recommendations for jobs recovery, fail over, logging, alerting mechanisms.
Preferred development background with Java, J2EE, Database building, SQL scripting and Management: DB2, SQL, PL/SQL, JDBC, Mapping and Workflow Tools.
Preferred experiencing developing with Azure Data Factory.
Previous experience in the banking and insurance industry.
