Overview

The individual will engage with functional areas to manage vendors and programs, ensuring delivered solutions meet requirements and is sustainable. This position is important to the successful implementation of the ERP replacement, ensuring the critical capabilities are delivered at the right time to support Celldex s strategic plans and commercial-related activities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the project stream for the ERP implementation and future enhancements, working with internal customers to determine project definition and business requirements
  • Provides budget analysis, resource allocation and coordination of project activities across functional areas within the organization to deliver critical commercial-ready capabilities
  • Oversee activities of vendor and team
  • Work with finance and other teams to evaluate current processes and finance tools and recommend enhancements, process improvement, and solutions.
  • Management of changes to finance systems, ensuring system continues to meet business needs, compliance and data integrity
  • Manage and administer finance systems
  • Provide training on finance systems
  • Work with Controller to oversee IT SOX control activities and reporting
  • May assist with reviewing and updating IT policies and procedures, e.g., development of IT Policies, SOPs and SLAs

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in technical field such as computer science preferred.
  • 5+ years in lead role participating in implementation of financial applications or processes
  • Experience implementing or working with financial applications required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Platform (Business Central, Power BI, etc) preferred
  • Knowledge of SOX and GMP controls required
  • Experience working in pharma or biotech company preferred
  • Highly communicative, consultative in nature, and demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and professionally.
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to solve complex problems, resolve issues, and make practical recommendations and plans.
  • Takes ownership of end-user issues and is proactive when interacting with end users to resolve issues
  • Maintains a high degree of customer service for end user requests while adhering to all IT policies and SOPs.
  • Be diligent and self-motivated, with an eagerness to learn and excel in a high-paced environment.
  • Be flexible and adjust to changing priorities or timelines.
