GenAI Program Manager

Location: Sacramento, CA (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ Months

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled GenAI Program Manager to join our team and lead the successful implementation of complex GenAI projects for our client based in Sacramento. In this role, you will oversee the entire program lifecycle, coordinating activities across various teams and stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate risks and issues to ensure project success.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress to senior management.
  • Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and solution delivery.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and leverage automation.
  • Engage with executive-level stakeholders to drive value-based solutions.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and proposal creation.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership in GenAI implementation and team integration.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in program management, with a proven track record in technology implementation projects.
  • 5+ years of experience in consulting or senior leadership roles.
  • A strong understanding of AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement large-scale technology solutions using industry best practices.
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement.
  • Expertise in risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent executive presentation and communication skills.
  • PMP or similar project management certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in AI or machine learning implementations.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AI/ML certifications, Agile methodologies).
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing complex projects across multiple domains.
  • Experience in consulting and client engagement.
