  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

RDK-B Testing Engineer

Location: Philadelphia PA /Ca
Job Type: Contract -w2

Job Description:

We are looking for a meticulous RDK-B Testing Engineer to help ensure the quality and reliability of broadband gateway software. You will be responsible for creating and executing test plans, automating test cases, and collaborating with developers to ensure seamless integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute test cases for RDK-B broadband solutions.
  • Automate testing procedures for embedded software.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues.
  • Validate new features and functionalities, ensuring they meet technical requirements.
  • Perform regression, performance, and stress testing of gateway systems.
  • Maintain test environments and ensure testing standards are upheld.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in testing embedded systems or broadband technologies.
  • Familiarity with RDK-B and broadband gateway systems.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Robot Framework, Selenium).
  • Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
  • Experience with network testing tools (Wireshark, iperf).
  • Understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPv6).
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience with DOCSIS and Wi-Fi technologies.
  • Prior experience testing Telecom systems is must.
