Description:
  • Maintain and optimize the Splunk platform, both infrastructure and configurations.
  • Undertake day-to-day operational and user support. Provide on-call support. Support patching and resolving vulnerabilities.
  • Documentation of best practice and SOPs.
  • Installing, updating, troubleshooting SSL certificates.
  • Execute new projects and POCs, including Splunk Smartstore implementation or Splunk Cloud migration, ITSI Service Monitoring, Splunk Workload Management, Splunk Observability evaluation.
  • Implement recommendations from Splunk Health Assessment. Optimize Splunk searches and ensure stability and performance of the Splunk platform.
  • Implement automation use cases. Knowledge of Ansible and python.
  • Perform Splunk Enterprise upgrades, Splunk ES and ITSI upgrades, App and TA upgrade, and coordinate with infrastructure teams on maintenance and upgrades to Splunk platform.
  • Perform data onboarding, review data sources, optimize inputs
  • Maintain and upgrade Splunk apps
  • Maintain and upgrade Splunk agents
  • Develop operational dashboards and write efficient Splunk searches
