Job Summary

Farmers Group (Woodland Hills, CA) seeks an Agile Developer Team Member V to be responsible for designing, developing, testing and/or deployment of system functionality. Specific duties include: perform user story point estimation; lead dev teams members; allocate tasks; support application architecture design; interpret customer needs into viable solutions, providing input into system design; write and refine user stories, including clear and accurate acceptance criteria; perform broad and detailed impact assessments relating people, processes and/or technology; support implementation activities, troubleshooting user/system environmental issues and training; support business in building a Lean Business Case and breaking epics into features; identify and raise issues and risks with functional design; partner with the Product Owner to confirm code and acceptance tests to reflect the desired functionality; execute Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) to build in quality. Option to work remotely with required travel to local offices as needed, if within 50 miles of remote worksite.

Position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, or a closely related field of study, plus 7 years of experience in the job offered, or as an Assistant Consultant, or similar position working in Application Technology. Must have 7 years of experience working with each of the following: Rational Application Developer; Eclipse; SQL (DB2/Oracle); WEBSERVICE; Java; SOAP; UI; WINSCP; TSO/ISPF; SERVICENOW; Endeavor; Splunk; and Tealeaf. Must also have 6 years of experience enhancing skills in CRM Domain. Additionally, must have 5 years of experience working with: COBOL; JCL; EasyTrieve; WebSphere Application Server 8.5; Tivoli; and GIT. Specific experience must also include: 2 years enhancing skills in P&C Domain and 1 year working with APEX-Salesforce. Option to work remotely with required travel to local offices as needed, if within 50 miles of remote worksite.
