As a Systems Administrator (Operations 24x7 Support), you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a TS/SCI-cleared Systems Administrator joining our team to support our intelligence customer in Springfield, VA.

How a Systems Administrator Will Make an Impact:

As a Systems Administrator, you will oversee the orchestration of operational integration and special support of operations services management. You will act as the central connection for the operational integration of new services introduced to the program, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently from an operations perspective. Your role also extends to providing operational leadership support to the Operations Support leadership team, offering surge support to the Ops 24x7 Support team, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the integration of new services, overseeing their successful adoption into the program. Also serve as the Operations POC for those new (or special) services.
  • Lead and manage the integration of operations across all technical service engineering lanes, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency.
  • Provide strategic managerial support to the Operations Support Leadership team (Operations Services Manager & Ops 24x7 Lead), enhancing the team's performance and service delivery.
  • Utilize your ITIL services management and project management familiarity to streamline processes and methodologies within the team.
  • Provide technical surge support in the following areas: Proactive SLA/AQL Compliance, Systems administration of virtual servers and services.
  • Remote Access Support, including tier-2 VDI administration.

Shift Hours:

  • Mon-Thu 0600-1600ET

How We Will Train You:

Our OPS V4 training initiative offers comprehensive resources designed to strengthen both technical and leadership skills, with a focus on IT Services & Operations Management, Technical Services Support, Leadership Development, and Extended Technical Training (Software & Web Development, AI, Machine Learning). Certifications in ITILv4, IT Support, and technical certifications are strongly encouraged.

What you will bring to us (Required Skills):

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and 5-8 years of related experience in systems administration at the senior level or in a leadership role in an operational IT support environment.
  • Systems administration experience in a virtual environment. Experience with Linux-based operating systems is a plus.
  • DoD 8140 IAT Level II Compliance or higher.
  • ITIL v4 certification and a deep understanding of project management processes and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (ScrumMaster, SAFe, etc.).
  • Working experience with ITSM software suites, preferably ServiceNow.
  • Eligibility for a Top Secret/SCI clearance.

Would be nice if you bring the following (Highly Desired):

  • Experience working in a virtual enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with leadership certifications.
  • Keen attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
