  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

RemX is seeking an Automation Specialist based in the Chicago area.
$99k base- 50% travel, full benefit package - Direct Hire role!

Duties:

  • Create technical project documentation.
  • Assist outside personnel in troubleshooting technology.
  • Evaluate new technologies and innovations.
  • Work on functional and risk analyses with design stakeholders.
  • Modify software to meet specifications.
  • Train company personnel to implement and troubleshoot new functions and techniques once developed.
  • Travel 50% (typically 3 weeks in and 1 week out of office per month).

Requirements:

  • PLC experience (Motion control in B&R)
  • Experience with Software designer (Structured text, ladder Logic, and Function Block)
  • Experience with Automation Studio (B&R)
  • Experience with Rockwell Studio 500
  • Experience with Siemens TIA Portal V17
  • Experience with NFPA 79
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation: Safety Automation Builder
  • Experience with SISTEMA is a plus.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Prior experience troubleshooting industrial control systems.
