  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Medical Device Company is seeking a Research Scientist for a contract opportunity in Johns Creek GA 30097

Source One is a consulting services company and we re currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant to our direct client, a Medical Device Company.

Title: Research Scientist
Location: Johns Creek GA 30097
Duration: ASAP to 5/4/2025 (6-months and possibly to be extended)
Type: 100% On-site in the Research Chemistry Lab (8 hours daily starting at 8:00AM may vary)
Pay: $31.43/Hour to $35.71/Hour (W-2)

Must Haves:
Background in Chemistry (Material Science, Chemical Engineering, process Engineering)
Hands on experience working in a research environment (Chemistry labs)
Formulation and process experience with hydrogel (polymers); and contact lens care are desired
Must be able to write reports (Log Book or ELN) and communicate well to internal customers

Education:
Bachelors degree or higher in a scientific discipline with adequate experience (MS with 1-2 yrs; BS with 2-5 yrs).
Fluency in English required.

Job Summary:
Associate Research Scientists typically work in a laboratory environment, conducting research and experiments for industrial or commercial ends.
They may help develop new products for the company or help contribute to scientific understanding within their field.

Primary Responsibilities:
Support formulation preparation, development and optimization of new process, designs, and prototypes.
Participate in research formulating and writing with other staff.
Assess new technologies and future applications of technologies.
Propose, plan, and manage research projects, report preparation, and presentation of findings.
May be required to mentor, train and/or coach junior research scientists.
Stay up to date on developments within their field through methods such as reading academic journals, attending training programs and attending conferences within their field.
