Machine Technician

Job Duties

• As a Machine Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of injection molding machines, as well as the upkeep and remodulation of facility equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and repair various industrial machinery to ensure seamless operations.
• Perform repair and maintenance of injection molding machines to support production efficiency.
• Conduct facility maintenance and repair tasks, including air compressors, piping, water towers, and other related equipment.
• Engage in facility remodulation activities to optimize production environments and equipment setups.
• Apply knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical principles to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Utilize welding, lathe, milling, and surface grinding machines to repair or modify equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. A technical degree in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in machine repair and facility maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Familiarity with welding, operating lathe, milling, and surface grinding machines.
• Certifications in machine maintenance or related technical fields are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of computer systems for maintenance, tracking and reporting. Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is an advantage.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple maintenance tasks simultaneously. Capable of working independently or as part of a maintenance team.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with production, facility, and maintenance teams. Ability to clearly document and communicate maintenance activities and equipment status.
