Quality Assurance Inspector Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to play a critical role in ensuring that all repair and maintenance activities meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marine repair and shipyard operations, with a focus on quality control and assurance processes.

Quality Assurance Inspector Responsibilities
  • Coordinating inspections for ongoing work in facility s Graving Dock ( Drydock ) and Mobile Boat Hoist ( MBH ).
  • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct inspections of materials, components, and systems, including structural, mechanical, piping, and electrical systems.
  • Identify and document non-conformities, discrepancies, and defects, and work with the production team to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records of quality control activities.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and production personnel to address and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide guidance to employees on quality assurance standards and best practices.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Quality Assurance Inspector Position Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience in ship repair and maritime safety protocols preferred
