Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Configuration Analysis Manager 3- CMDM-PCE Segment Lead. This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program.
What You'll Get To Do:

The successful candidate will lead a multi-disciplined team overseeing Configuration and Data Management (CMDM), and Project Change Engineering (PCE) for the Sentinel Program. You will work closely with your Program leadership to ensure long-term/short-term milestones and day-to-day tasking is accomplished. You will gather, track, and report key performance indicators & metrics to your Program leadership team as well as the Sr. CMDM & PCE Manager on a weekly basis.

Tasking includes staffing and budget planning, employee development and training coordination, establishing/ implementing policy, program support, Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) response coordination/development and implementation, process improvement, goal development and engagement planning, and ensuring the competitiveness of the organization. This role includes conducting independent reviews in preparation for major program milestones as well as audit preparation and support coordination for both internal and external audits.
The role must provide guidance and influence Program Leadership in the execution of all phases of CMDM principles (Planning, Identification, Change Control, Status Accounting, Verification/Audits, Data Mgmt., etc.). Responsibilities include reviewing, updating, and maintaining process documentation, auditing and evaluating compliance with these processes, sharing best practices among program practitioners, and implementing Corrective Actions resulting from audit findings to ensure continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:
Ensure consistent application of Northrop Grumman policies and practices.
Perform labor, budgetary forecasting, and planning and performance based on program schedules and forecasts.
Ensure Configuration Management for the Program is conducted properly and adheres to Sentinel Programmatic, Contractual, and Configuration Management Plan requirements
Ensure Data Management for the Program is conducted properly and adheres to Programmatic, Contractual, and Data Management Plan requirements
Improve processes and procedures to meet contractual requirements as well as industry best practices
Support Program Manager, Chief Engineer, and other Segment leadership in day-to-day CMDM & PCE efforts
Build high performing relationships with Customer counterparts and interface as needed to support work scope.
Provide clear and concise reporting of status and key performance indicators / metrics to Program Leadership and Sentinel CMDM-PCE Sr. Manager
Provide oversight of CMDM & PCE process and governance for the Sentinel Program
Support management and maintenance of program-specific Configuration/Data Management plans ensuring they accurately reflect the appropriate controls and practices for successful Configuration and Data Management for the Program.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years' related experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree

4 years of direct or related CMDM experience.
Experience executing the five functions of Configuration Management (Configuration Management Planning and Management, Configuration Identification, Configuration Change Management, Configuration Status Accounting, Configuration Verification and Audit).
Minimum of 3 years in a formal management position
1 year of Software Configuration Management experience.
Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance, current and within scope, with the ability to obtain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance and an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
More than 7 years of experience of direct CMDM domain knowledge.

3 years of experience in a DoD or Government Contracting environment
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification.
Experience with Government Contracting, especially with respect to the Engineering Change Proposal process.
Experience with AGILE framework program execution, especially as it relates to Software CMDM.
History of effective internal assessments, Supplier and Government Functional / Physical Configuration Audits.
Expert knowledge of NG, and CMDM Industry Standards, including ASME Y14, MIL-HDBK-61, SAE GEIA-859, SAE EIA-649-1, and GEIA-HB-649.
Knowledgeable with common NG CMDM tools, such as TeamCenter, SharePoint, MES, Jira, SAP, DOORS, Cameo, etc.
Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills.
Proven Experience with Process Improvements and Affordability Initiatives.
Demonstrated success leading teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal.
Knowledge of system integration and test principles and test plan development at any level of build (unit, sub-system, system, etc.).
Collaborate across program to identify and support initiatives to improve CMDM tools and processes.
Active Top Secret Security Clearance.

Salary Range: $129,000 - $193,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
