Looking for an Inventory Specialist in Atlanta, G (Onsite)

The client is seeking a Data Center Operations Analyst(Inventory Specialist) who will support the Client Spares Readiness team within Data Center Central Operations(Inventory Specialist). The primary focus of the role is to ensure the accuracy and management of spare parts data across various workstreams and to provide support for both new and existing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Governance & Accuracy:
    • Support in maintaining and improving data accuracy for spare parts.
    • Focus on data governance for new zone turnup, NPI (New Product Introduction) spares creation, and spares data accuracy.
    • Address PIR (Purchase Issue Record) resolutions and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Coordination & Project Management:
    • Provide tactical support for new zone turnup, including setting up inventory levels, purchase orders, and part number creation.
    • Work closely with General Contractors and other entities to build accurate spares lists for new data center builds.
    • Coordinate with manufacturers for end-of-life replacements and product lifecycle management, including BOM (Bill of Materials) support.
  • Reporting & Metrics:
    • Prepare and deliver weekly and monthly reports for internal syncs and external stakeholders, including monthly metrics reports.
    • Lead weekly calls with the NPI team and manufacturers, focusing on product list creation, new product list organization, and gap identification.
  • Issue Resolution & Risk Management:
    • Manage data center bug closures and Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
    • Support initiatives like the Fix-the-Risks program, ensuring operational challenges are identified and addressed.
  • Vendor & Supplier Management:
    • Handle punchout supplier onboarding and provide ongoing support for suppliers.
    • Be a point of escalation for resolving vendor technical issues related to procurement processes.

  • Communication & Analytical Skills: The role involves direct interaction with stakeholders, requiring clear communication and the ability to analyze and resolve issues.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail is essential for managing data accuracy and reporting.
  • Project Management: Must be able to juggle multiple projects and work independently or as part of a team, depending on project needs.
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills are required for internal coordination and external vendor relationships.
