The Judge Group is seeking a LIMS/MODA Lab Systems Admin for a full time opportunity with a pharmaceutical client.

Job Title: LIMS / MODA Lab Systems Administrator

Location: Lexington, MA

Type: Full time Permanent

As a Lab Systems Administrator, you will manage and maintain Lab Systems (such as LabWare LIMS and MODA) role involves overseeing master data and workflows, integrating with instruments and other systems, and providing end-user support. Additionally, you'll work closely with global system owners to implement system changes and ensure effective communication.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update lab system workflows.
  • Manage changes and requests through the IT ticketing/change system (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Assist with system and instrument integrations, configuration changes, and coordination with the Global DD&T function.
  • Perform master data updates to support business changes and improvements.
  • Support and resolve master data issues, and carry out routine administrative activities.
  • Create and maintain method verification scripts and system documentation for new functionalities and routine updates.
  • Provide first tier application support for routine issues, including user inquiries and usage issue resolution.
  • Support validation activities for ongoing projects.
  • Configure interfaces between instruments and lab systems.
  • Ensure lab system operations comply with regulations, and global and local requirements.
  • Represent the company's interests with Global LIMS and MODA teams, acting as a liaison between global and site functions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industry.
  • Configuration/development experience with LabWare LIMS or MODA.
  • Knowledge of LabWare LIMS and MODA systems and the processes they support.
  • Understanding of the systems' impact on Data Integrity and validated states when making decisions about process changes.
  • Strong collaboration and engagement skills with lab personnel and business stakeholders.
  • Coordination experience with vendors.
  • Experience supporting regulatory inspections as a subject matter expert.
  • Ability to work with lab personnel to ensure a shared understanding of system use, and to recommend process or configuration improvements.
  • Comfortable managing activities across multiple workstreams, and acting as an SME and technical team member in lab systems-related projects.
  • Willingness to travel for business meetings, vendor interactions, and professional development.

Important Considerations:
  • Adherence to strict quality and safety rules in manufacturing facilities to ensure product quality.
  • Daily use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and cleanroom garments, which may include safety shoes, safety glasses, aprons, face shields, lab coats, full-body gowns, hairnets, gloves, and hearing protection.
  • Removal of makeup, jewelry, contact lenses, nail polish, and artificial fingernails while in the manufacturing environment.
  • Working conditions may include cold, wet environments.
  • Flexibility to work multiple shifts, including weekends, or supplemental hours as needed.
  • Handling of chemicals such as alcohol, acids, buffers, and Celite, potentially requiring respiratory protection.
