Project/ Product Engineer $35.00hr

The Role you will play:
  • Provide daily technical support and leadership to designated product lines, including hands-on root cause analysis, problem solving and long-term strategic direction for the product.
  • Collaborate dynamically with engineering, operations, materials, quality, suppliers and marketing staff to implement significant improvements in product quality (defect reduction) to achieve high levels of customer service.
  • Conceive, justify, and plan solutions for complex problems. Implement engineering design changes that improve product function, reduce costs, reduce defects, and / or improve manufacturing efficiency.
  • Design, develop and comply with testing procedures.
  • Create and revise product drawings and BOMs
Background Profile:
  • B.S. Degree in a Technical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, both as a leader/facilitator and a participant
  • Experience in low-cost, high-volume, low-defect manufacturing
  • Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Working knowledge of CAD/CAE engineering tools (SolidWorks preferred)
  • Knowledge of FEA and CFD
  • Excellent theoretical and applied knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
