Department Overview

The Electric Operations Safety and Compliance Strategy department provides safety and Compliance improvement oversight for Electric Transmission, Substation and Distribution. The Electric Operations Safety Excellence team partners with the Enterprise Health and Safety (EH&S) team to provide strategic guidance to improve our safety culture and performance. The compliance strategy team implements our PG&E performance playbook approach concentrating on key company focus areas that are a function of risk, regulatory impacts, compliance maturity model attributes, key regulatory issues, and line of business requests.

Position Summary

Aligns customer need, market potential, technology readiness, and regulatory policy to develop and execute business plans that deliver demand-side products to PG&E's customers. Provides product strategy, content, and evaluation by collecting insights into customer need, testing concepts and developing prototypes, defining features and benefits of products, building the solution, articulating a distinct value proposition, testing with customers, managing a continuous improvement cycle to improve efficacy and cost-effectiveness, and versioning or exiting offerings in the product portfolio.

The assigned work location will be within the PG&E Service Territory and will be agreed upon by the successful candidate and hiring leader.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office, assigned headquarter location, and field visits based on business needs.

PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.

A reasonable salary range is:

Minimum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 122,000.00

Maximum Base Salary (Bay Area) $ 194,000.00

OR

Minimum Base Salary (California) $ 116,000.00

Maximum Base Salary (California) $ 184,000.00

Job Responsibilities

  • Broad expertise in product management and applies advanced knowledge to wide-ranging issues.
  • Develops innovative solutions to complex product issues.
  • May manage cross-functional projects or initiatives.
  • Manages a highly complex product or a group of complex products.
  • Responsible for development and execution of product roadmaps.
  • Works with & leverages relationships with Directors and Managers across functions / PG&E.
  • May support training of new products


Qualifications

Minimum:

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Business, Economics, Marketing, Psychology, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of related experience or equivalent

  • MBA or equivalent graduate degree desired.
