As we are quickly expanding our local Region Datacenters footprint globally, this Go to Market Datacenter Lead will drive strategic business development to accelerate Cloud growth across the Americas. This role requires a mix of data analysis, business development and Azure tech savvy and will work in close cooperation with the Americas leadership team, Field Sales and Microsoft's Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Datacenter Expansion and Operations and Engineering teams to ensure services and features of the local Datacenter are aligned with customers mid-long term onboarding and services adoption.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.
  • 5+ years of sales enablement experience in any of the following: data insights, business intelligence, data analytics, data visualization, leading end-to-end scenario modeling, predictive analytics.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • 12+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years experience managing and expanding a product/solution portfolio and driving demand generation and pipeline acceleration within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization.
  • 3+ years of experience in any combination of the following: Microsoft Power BI, advanced data modeling, DAX or related.
  • 2+ years of analytical experience that involves collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating data and information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Field Product Marketing IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $248,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $268,900 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze data that will be used to build a multi year growth plan to develop Microsoft Cloud footprint in the United States.
  • Create alliances across internal stakeholders across geographies.
  • Support the build the business cases for DC expansions.
  • Work with engineering to understand our capacity status and with the field to understand current and future demand of our datacenter regions.
  • Assess with all stakeholders required Azure services needed and elevate all options to accelerate deployment to respond to critical needs and provide business continuity for mission critical applications.
  • Work through data to assess customers' service and capacity requirements over 3 years, to inform service availability investment and roadmap to ensure we anticipate demand, to ensure we identify the correct workloads, forecast capacity, and secure confidence and scale of the platform by expediting capacity
