We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Planner to join our dynamic team in the engineering industry. This position plays a pivotal role in our manufacturing process, ensuring that all aspects of production are meticulously planned and executed. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong understanding of manufacturing plans, blueprints and inventory management. Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement detailed manufacturing plans and schedules to meet production goals.
2. Utilize planning tools to optimize the use of resources and ensure the timely delivery of products.
3. Review and interpret engineering blueprints to understand product specifications and requirements.
4. Prepare a comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) for each project, detailing the parts and components required for production.
5. Coordinate with various departments to ensure the availability of materials, equipment, and manpower as per the production schedule.
6. Monitor inventory levels and initiate procurement processes when necessary to avoid stockouts and production delays.
7. Analyze and resolve any issues that may impact the production schedule, such as equipment breakdowns, material shortages, or quality issues.
8. Collaborate with the engineering team to implement continuous improvement initiatives and optimize production processes.
9. Prepare and present regular reports on production progress, inventory status, and any deviations from the plan.
10. Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
2. Minimum of five years of experience as a planner in the engineering or manufacturing industry.
3. Proficiency in using planning tools and software.
4. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing plans, blueprints, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
5. Strong understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to make decisions under pressure.
7. Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
8. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with various teams.
9. Detail-oriented and results-driven, with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
10. Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
