Our client is hiring for developer roles. They are open to a junior candidate with an object orientated background from school and/or internship. Candidates need a bachelor's degree in a Computer Science related major and a minimum of a 3.3 cumulative GPA to get an interview. Open to 3.0 if you have an internship.
The technology stack varies are about 80% Java shop and 20% .NET shop. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with an amazing company and culture. They are open to both Java or a .NET background.
Desired Skills and Experience
A four-year college degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of Java, SQL, DB2, JSP, AJAX, Web Services, Spring, and/or JUnit is strongly preferred
Experience with OpenShift, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is a plus
Enthusiasm for driving improvement by finding and implementing solutions to new challenges
Must be able to learn and effectively use tools and software development techniques as practiced, acquired, or adopted within the IT Division
