We're looking for an Associate Director, Strategic Business Analyst to:
Utilize data to drive key product and regulatory initiatives across banking products such as Securities Backed Loans, mortgages, credit cards, and deposits, among others.
Analyze product, financial advisor, and client data.
Understand the tenants of Agile Project management and operate and meet deliverables within an Agile environment.
Execute User Acceptance Testing.
Independently develop unit tests and debug scripts.
Understand data governance fundamentals, data warehouse administration, and management fundamentals.
Utilize modern technologies to implement automation and scheduling including using Excel macros, batch files, and monitoring dashboards.
Independently source relevant data to answer a business question then distill the input data into actionable insights and present these to senior leadership.
Conduct statistical analysis using multivariate regression, cluster analysis, and econometric time series forecasting.
Write SQL queries using complex joins and fuzzy logic.
Understand cloud-computing principles and leverage cloud environments to source desired data elements.
Use Tidyverse R paradigm to wrangle data.
Provide predictive analytics using machine-learning techniques.
Build dynamic dashboards via HTML widgets, Tableau, MicroStrategy, PowerBI, and Dataiku.
Build and explain data models and isolate the root causes of data issues.
Quantify and explain opportunity costs.
Support financial product development, drive and support revenue-generating initiatives, and work closely with product management, control and support partners.
Develop data-driven business insights and analytics to drive growth within banking.
