Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Security Coordinator 3/4 to join our team of talented and diverse individuals at our Palmdale, CA location.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Supporting a fast-paced high-profile environment.
  • Create, maintain, and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Meticulous record-keeping and responsible for accurate data input into multiple databases/spreadsheets.
  • Support the Security Manager or Security Director in maintaining a strong security posture for the Division.
  • Perform the destruction of confidential documents
  • Operate an industrial shredding machine
  • Become knowledgeable with government and corporate security policies and procedures.
  • Other administrative tasks as assigned.

Security Coordinator 3 Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, and 4 years of additional education and/or administrative or security-related experience.
  • Candidate must have and be able to maintain a U.S. Government final security clearance at the Top-Secret level.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain access to a special access program.
  • Candidate must be organized and efficient at time management.
  • Candidate must have experience with computer and desktop Microsoft office software products (Word, Excel etc...)
  • Ability to sit and/or stand throughout the day
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Security Coordinator 4 Basic Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent, and 6 years of additional education and/or administrative or security-related experience.
  • Candidate must have and be able to maintain a U.S. Government final security clearance at the Top-Secret level.
  • Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain access to a special access program.
  • Candidate must be organized and efficient at time management.
  • Candidate must have experience with computer and desktop Microsoft office software products (Word, Excel etc...)
  • Ability to sit and/or stand throughout the day
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Self-starter with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to display tact, discretion, and diplomacy in a variety of program areas.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, speaking, writing skills and organizational skills enabling effective communication
Salary Range: $48,600 - $81,000
Salary Range 2: $58,400 - $97,400
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
