Test Technician

Amentum is now hiring for several Test Technician (All Levels) - CSIA positions in support of the Cyber Security & Information Assurance (CSIA) Support Services office at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD and Ft Belvoir, VA. This project will provide the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM), Command, Control, Computers, Communications, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Research (C5ISR) Center services to include programmatic/business management services, engineering support services, field engineering, laboratory, logistics, and acquisition / administrative support services to augment CSIA core Government personnel and turn-key solutions to support the missions of CSIA and its associated Managers and customers. This support will be conducted in close coordination with Government project leads within CSIA.

The candidate will work closely with the client to perform the following:

• Prepares specifications for fabrication, assembly, and installation of apparatus and control instrumentation used to test experimental or prototype mechanical, electrical, electromechanical, hydromechanical, or structural products, and tests and records results, utilizing engineering principles and test technology.
• Participates in conversations with engineering personnel to resolve problems relating to specifications and to review test plans, such as types and cycles of tests, conditions under which tests are to be conducted, and duration of tests.
• Monitors controls and instruments and records test data for engineer's use.
• May recommend changes in test methods or equipment for engineering review.
• Performs standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and records and analyzes results.
• Requires knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.
• May recommend changes in testing methods or equipment changes.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• AA or 2-year technical school in Computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience
• 4 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: ship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.

Compensation:

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $45,000 - $150,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.).
