  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Description

RemX Specialty Staffing is looking for Disaster Relief Helpers to help support survivors in various Florida communities.

Pay: $25/hr

Hours: Flexible between 6am – 8pm Monday – Sunday.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
  • Assist survivors navigate the recovery process and help connect them to appropriate resources and support that is available at disaster recovery centers.
  • Assist colleagues with tasks and projects as directed by your supervisor.
  • Promote a culture of equity and inclusion within the team.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with survivors, vendors, management, and colleagues, using appropriate language and tailoring information to meet the needs of the audience.
  • Develop and maintain professional, trusting relationships with supervisors, staff, survivors, and vendors, responding with empathy and respect to all inquiries and concerns.

Requirements
  • Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
  • Ability to stand and move consistently over an extended period of time.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with disaster survivors and/or social services programs.
