We are in search of a Business Systems Analyst/Project Manager to join our team in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves working closely with both onshore and offshore teams, running the development team, communicating with business stakeholders, and managing the software development lifecycle. The position provides an opportunity to create new processes and procedures, while offering a contract employment opportunity. This contract role will be hybrid on site.

Responsibilities:

Facilitate communication between the development team and business stakeholders in order to translate business requirements into technical deliverables.

Manage the development lifecycle, ensuring smooth operation and efficient delivery of solutions.

Work on project management tasks such as project intake, prioritization, and building out project plans.

Handle release management duties to assist with implementing new processes.

Collaborate with outsourced inventory system developers and consultants on various projects.

Employ Atlassian Jira, CRM, and other tools for managing tasks and tracking progress.

Conduct gap analysis and A/B testing to optimize business processes and systems.

Implement Agile Scrum methodologies and perform backlog grooming to ensure the efficiency of the development process.

Document business processes and requirements in a Business Requirement Document.

Oversee the software development life cycle (SDLC) using SDLC Methodology.

Requirements

Proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence
Experience in Business Systems and CRM
Knowledge of Gap Analysis and AB Testing
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology
Experience with Backlog Grooming
Understanding of Business Process Functions
Ability to create Business Requirement Documents
Experience in Release Management
Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and SDLC Methodology
Strong analytical and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
Proven problem-solving abilities
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
