We are looking for a Java Backend Developer with a strong background in Spring Boot and retail domain experience to join our consulting team. This is a full-time position, and the ideal candidate must be open to relocating to Bentonville, AR.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot for retail applications.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.

Implement and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.

Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability through code optimization and continuous improvements.

Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues to ensure smooth operations.

Stay updated with the latest technology trends and apply best practices for backend development.

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in Java Backend Development.

Expertise in Spring Boot, with a deep understanding of backend development principles.

Retail domain experience is a must.

Strong experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL).

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

Experience with transaction management, multi-threading, and concurrency.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Familiarity with frontend frameworks (React, Angular) is a plus.
