Construction Scheduler

Salary: $ 125,000.00

We have partnered with a large construction company in the Charleston, SC area to provide them with a Construction Scheduler. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills For The Construction Scheduler

#1. Must have at least 10 years of Construction Scheduling experience.

#2. Must have experience with scheduling software Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and similar programs.

#3. Must have working knowledge of construction drawings, costs, and principles.

#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10 years.

Requirements Of The Construction Scheduler

• A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with at least 10 years of experience in vertical construction scheduling, particularly in hospitality or multi-family projects.
• Expertise in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.
• Possession of scheduling certifications (e.g., PSP, PMI-SP) is advantageous.
• OSHA 30 and First Aid certifications are also preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and precision in both scheduling and documentation.
• Ability to adhere to deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced construction setting.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, techniques, and contracting procedures.
• Familiarity with construction drawings, cost estimation, and core construction principles.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when project schedules demand.
• Physical ability to climb ladders and scaffolding up to 50 feet and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Capability to navigate and walk job sites extensively (6-8 hours daily) and move through construction zones.
