O'Neal Steel currently has an opening for a Processing Specialist for our Coastal Region (Mobile preferred location).
Promote the sale of processed material, process customer inquiries and orders, andnegotiate pricing to achieve the maximum level of profitability on products requiring specialprocessing services.

O'Neal Steel currently has an opening for a Processing Specialist for our Coastal Region (Mobile preferred location).
Promote the sale of processed material, process customer inquiries and orders, andnegotiate pricing to achieve the maximum level of profitability on products requiring specialprocessing services.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Analyze and evaluate prints for production methods, assist in determining machine timecosts, calculate processing costs and lead time coordinate material delivery needed forprocessing and/or order outside processing.
- Prepare necessary paperwork for quotes and orders obtain credit approval, checkstock, coordinate orders in warehouse, expedite shipments (traffic, vendors, otherdistricts, etc.), offer quotes and accept orders.
- Interface with Inside Sales to provide quotes for customers in a timely manner.
- Assist in continuing education and training for sales employees regarding processingmethods and procedures.
- High school diploma
- Demonstrated experience in reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to communicate and work effectively across multiple departments includingoutside contacts and vendors.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and successfully implement technical ideas.
- May need to effectively convey technical specifications to a non-technical individual oraudience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- One year’s experience in parts programming or Inside Sales.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including interpretation and application.
- Competent in the areas of organizational skills, critical thinking, problem solving, andteamwork.
