Position Overview

Our client, a private equity-backed healthcare company, is seeking a highly skilled FP&A Analyst to join their finance team. The FP&A Analyst will report directly to the CFO and play a critical role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and reporting. This role requires advanced Excel skills and experience creating board decks and management presentations. Preferred candidates will have a background in transaction services, investment banking, or private equity. This is a remote position, but candidates local to the DFW metro area are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support financial planning and analysis activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Prepare board decks, management presentations, and financial reports to assist in decision-making at the executive level.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business strategy and growth initiatives.
  • Assist in preparing financial models and analysis for M&A activities and other strategic projects.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and senior leadership to provide insights into financial performance and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in reporting key financial metrics.
  • Work closely with various departments to gather financial data and provide actionable insights.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Advanced Excel skills are required.
  • Experience preparing board decks and management presentations is essential.
  • Preferred experience in transaction services practice, investment banking, or as a private equity associate.
  • Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Preferred candidates will be based in or near the DFW metro area.
