Position Overview:

They are looking for a Business Data Engineer/Analyst who will be responsible for managing payment processing data, building automated reporting systems using APIs, and troubleshooting our reporting environment. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in handling confidential data, providing quality assurance, and delivering insightful reports and analyses that drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage payment processing data and ensure its accuracy and security
• Build and automate reporting for various systems using APIs
• Ensure data integrity and perform quality assurance on imported data
• Work with QA analysts when necessary to ensure data accuracy
• Develop insightful reports and analyses to support business decision-making
• Manage and design the reporting environment, including data sources and security
• Troubleshoot issues within the reporting database and reports
  
  

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in managing and integrating APIs for data extraction and automation
• Strong background in working with analytics tools and platforms like Google and Bing to extract marketing, traffic, and conversion data for analysis
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organized with excellent project management skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities
• Preferred experience in e-commerce or online retail environments handling digital product data and transaction metrics
