My client seeks a visionary SVP of Marketing to lead and inspire a high-performing team of VP's across multiple categories. This strategic leader will leverage deep consumer insights to craft a winning brand narrative, drive innovation, and propel profitable growth.

The Opportunity

  • Partner with the CEO & President to architect the long-term vision for my client's brand categories (each one producing hundreds of millions in revenue)
  • Develop and execute a cohesive marketing strategy for multiple high-growth categories with hundreds of products
  • Foster a developmentally-driven culture within the marketing team

You will be:

A Brand Strategist:

  • Translate consumer insights into powerful brand positioning and communication strategies
  • Champion product line innovation and system innovation to meet evolving consumer needs
  • Oversee creative development and ensure brand alignment across all touchpoints

A Growth Catalyst:

  • Drive revenue growth through effective consumer acquisition and loyalty programs
  • Build international brand influence and web-based consumer engagement
  • Collaborate with R&D to translate consumer insights into product development strategies

A Team Leader:

  • Manage and develop multiple VPs, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment
  • Coach and mentor talent to build a high-performing marketing organization
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning and process improvement

You bring:

  • Proven experience leading brand marketing for high-growth CPG brands (> $100M)
  • Expertise in leveraging consumer insights for product development and differentiation
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive marketing experience with a track record of success
  • Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and open communication style with a proven background of leading and developing leaders
  • Deep understanding of multi-channel marketing and non-traditional consumer acquisition strategies
  • Excellent analytical and financial acumen with a focus on profitable growth
  • Ability to work in-person
  • Ability to relocate to an undisclosed state (role is not based in Chicago)
