Looking for a Azure Data Architect to assist in growing out their Data Analytics practice & Enterprise Data Model.

This role will be instrumental in leading the data design, development and data maturity for our Modern Data Platform. The Data Architect will translate business processes into logical and physical objects/databases and how data will flow through successive stages. This role will address data migration, validation, cleanup, and mapping, build enterprise objects/databases, optimize processes for performance, develop strategies for data acquisitions, and demonstrate broad and deep knowledge in a dimensional database environment.

My client is seeking a Data Architect with extensive Azure and Databricks experience who can help facilitate the move to Databricks. Consultant must have hands on technical experience with SQL/Python as they will help engineer data pipelines and build stored procedures/views. Everyone on this team is a technical and picks up their load in this start up environment.

All consultants must have experience with enterprise data models and understand medallion architecture.

Top Skills' Details
1. 5-7 years of hands-on experience, the ability to build and hydrate data models, guide the technical team, and establish technical standards and processes. - Will need to build out the Enterprise Data Model and understand their current business processes (Medallion Architecture).
2. Azure DataBricks - Would prefer someone who has helped move to Azure Databricks platform since this is their journey right now.
3. SQL/Python - this person will need to be technical and help engineer data pipelines and build stored procedures/views because everyone on this team needs to be technical and pick up the load in their "startup" environment

Drive Modern Data Platform maturity and development
Contributes and successfully deliver enterprise data model
Set the technical strategy & leads complex technical initiatives within the team
Explore technical needs of the business and proposes robust solutions through functional data architecture strategy and design
Gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions with a flexible and adaptable data architecture.
Understand customer pain points, builds solutions to make large and/or complex data more accessible, understandable and usable by applications and teams
Work collaboratively with all levels of business stakeholders to architect, implement, and test data based analytical solutions from disparate sources
Develop strategies for data acquisitions
Architect, design and maintain high-performing ELT/ETL processes
Work closely with the Users, systems designers, and the developers on a Project team
Conduct business analysis, event modeling, logical and physical database design, database optimization, load strategy design and implementation, security and change management
Design scalable Enterprise Data Architectures and solutions
Mentor others on the team where appropriate
Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
10+ years of experience in data & analytics.
Ability to demonstrate excellent data analysis and python skills
Demonstrates an understanding of concepts, best practices, and functions to implement an Enterprise Data solution.
Strong background in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), GPT/LLM, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning and understanding how to leverage them in construction contexts.
Proficient in traditional and modern architectural patterns, software development, and system integration.
Demonstrated ability to think strategically and integrate a broad range of ideas regarding product development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
Proven leadership abilities and experience in working with diverse and globally distributed teams
