In addition, HCRA strives to educate consumers to ensure that they can make informed decisions and understand the benefits of a regulated homebuilding sector. In this collaborative role, you will work closely with the CAO, CEO, and Senior Leadership team to identify technology opportunities, provide strategic guidance on IT investments, and ensure that technology solutions support the strategic needs of the entire organization. You will lead an IT team of direct reports, and multiple independent contractors, all working together to provide comprehensive IT services to the entire organization.

Key Responsibilities for this role include developing and implementing the IT strategy in alignment with the HCRA s mission, leading digital transformation initiatives, and managing IT operations, including network management, systems administration, and cybersecurity. You will also be responsible for identifying emerging technologies, evaluating their potential to enhance regulatory processes, and driving innovative solutions for data management and analysis. As the key IT leader, you will ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, manage risk through robust security measures, and develop and, if necessary, implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans. In addition, you will lead a high performing IT team, set clear goals, and provide ongoing support and development opportunities, while fostering a collaborative and agile work environment.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

Success in this role requires a combination of strategic vision, technical expertise, and leadership ability. You will need a strong foundation in IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies, with experience in cloud-based environments and managing complex application development projects. Your ability to evaluate and implement cutting-edge technologies, will be crucial for driving innovation and improving organizational productivity. A proven track record of developing and executing IT strategies that align with business goals is essential, as is a deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices to safeguard the HCRA from threats.

You will bring significant progressive IT leadership experience in IT, including managing teams in areas such as project management, infrastructure support, and security. Excellent communication skills are required, as you will be presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leading a diverse team. Experience working within a regulatory or not-for-profit environment will be highly valuable, as will your ability to navigate complex data management and reporting requirements.
