JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Utilize deep technical expertise to design, implement, and manage complex security solutions, providing leadership and technical guidance for various security projects.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the administration and monitoring of security systems across both cloud environments (AWS) and on-premises infrastructures.
  • Expertly deploy and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Git, applying advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge to develop, implement, and enforce rigorous security standards and operational processes for AWS services, including EC2, S3, Load Balancers, Gateways, and RDS.
  • Possess strong skills in configuring and implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using SAML/OIDC protocols.
  • Maintain best security practices on core infrastructure services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Remote Access, Email Gateway/Exchange Servers.
  • Ensure compliance with best practice configuration standards in both Windows and Linux operating systems, leveraging advanced knowledge of OS security.
  • Develop and enforce advanced security practices for containerized environments, utilizing in-depth knowledge of container security.
  • Lead product selection efforts, including defining evaluation criteria and test plans.
  • Work closely with business units and corporate partners to ensure technical security solutions are aligned with architectural frameworks, and security standards.
  • Understand the common types of cyber-attacks and countermeasures in the industry and engage with the business units to resolve within SLAs.
  • Create and maintain technical process documentation (procedures and playbooks).

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of cybersecurity engineering and administration experience of multiple cyber security domains.
  • Expertise in AWS services, including Lambda, API Gateway, and S3, with strong cloud security skills.
  • knowledge in, Active Directory, Privileged Access Management (PAM), and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
  • Knowledge in firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, DDOS mitigation technologies, Web Proxies, WAF and Load Balancers.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, CSA, CIS, ISO27000 series) and industry best practices.
  • Must have strong hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform with any of GitHub or Gitlab for CI/CD.
  • Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platforms (Splunk, ELK), logical thinking and ability to create searches, dashboards, etc.
  • Deep knowledge in Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Strong critical thinking, deductive reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • CISSP or equivalent certification preferred.
