Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist/competency assessment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

DESCRIPTION: 2 years experience current required in a 12 plus bed cardiac critical care and/or intensive care unit required. Open heart, LVAD, balloon pump experience preferred. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced environment.

CERTS: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required. BLS and ACLS must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or client. EPIC EMR experience preferred. Traveler must pass the BCA (basic cardiac arrythmia) testing during first week of assignment. Travelers that do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.

SHIFTS: 12 hour NIGHT shift position. Start time 1900 Weekends 3 weekend shifts in a 4 week schedule period and Holidays required per PH policy - Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs. On call, weekends and holidays may be required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location. Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. At alternate location-Will float to progressive care unit and med/surg. Will float to ICU to care for tele patients boarding in ICU. Will float to ED to care for admitted inpatients holding for bed or as helping hands. Will float to CC/TELE/MS areas.

ORIENTATION: 1st week of the contract, not to exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training. Scrubs required
