Title: Senior Business Analyst
Location: NYC NY (ONSITE)
Duration: 12+ Months
Initially, it will be on-site for all five days. After three months, we can offer three days in the office and two days working from home (and the option to be called in the office by the supervisor) if the immediate supervisor approves it.
- Meeting with businesses to understand their needs, leading joint application design sessions to gather business and functional requirements
- Generating detailed process flows, documenting existing and to-be business processes clearly and concisely
- Create detailed and interactive Graphical User Interface (GUI) mock-ups
- Writing Business and Functional Requirement Documents
- Creating User Stories and Acceptance Criteria
- Creating Test plans and test scripts to be used for system testing, including test data requirements
- Execute system testing, following test scripts, and documenting results
- Provide detailed explanations of bugs encountered during the System Test, reporting them promptly
- Facilitate user acceptance testing, by creating scripts, setting up the environment, training the users who will be executing the test
- Provide post-implementation support to end users, potentially creating training documents, manuals, demonstrations
The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of strong business analysis experience, who can think out of the box and can handle multiple projects simultaneously. The candidate must have excellent writing and communication skills since they will be working directly with the business. If possible, this person should also have experience working with government agencies (child support would be a plus!).
