Position Overview:

Our Data & Analytics team plays a pivotal role in harnessing vast amounts of data to drive business strategy and enhance user experiences. We are seeking a skilled Analytics Engineer with deep experience in data modeling and building data pipelines, who enjoys building systems that ingest data from source systems and transform it into high-quality data assets that can be used for downstream use cases. This individual will be part of a collaborative team that delivers innovative data solutions that fuel business growth.

Responsibilities:

Data Infrastructure Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure the integrity and efficiency of data flow from various sources to our data warehouse.

Data Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and consolidate data from multiple systems, databases, and external sources.

Data Modeling: Model, build, and iterate on the data model used to combine and refine the raw data obtained into usable data products

Analytics and Reporting: Create and optimize dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data systems and queries to ensure high efficiency and reliability. Identify opportunities to reduce complexity and cost while enhancing efficiency across the organization.

Data Quality and Governance: Implement data quality checks and governance practices to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Collaboration: Work closely with business users to gather requirements and deliver analytics solutions that meet their needs. Train and support team members and stakeholders in the use of business intelligence and reporting tools

Documentation: Document and expose data assets in a way that is easy to understand and use for internal stakeholders, enabling self-service analytics and ensuring a single source of truth for analytics.

Qualifications:

Several years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Associate, Data Engineer, or similar role.

The ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries with ease.

Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Astrato, or similar.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Nice to have:

Hands-on experience with Snowflake, and data transformation tools such as dbt, Airbyte, Hightouch.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in writing Python code and experience with version control and CI/CD best practices.

Experience with machine learning techniques and predictive modeling is a plus.
