Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and well-connected Investor Relations Manager to join our team. As an IR Manager, you will be responsible for developing new investor relationships across institutional, private wealth, and family office channels. This is a full-time, hybrid position with the flexibility to work remotely.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Raising
- Develop and execute highly effective fundraising strategies to raise substantial capital for our fund vehicles
- Identify, engage, and build strong relationships with potential limited partners (LPs), including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors
- Manage the due diligence process for potential LPs
- Close investment commitments and ensure a smooth onboarding process for new LPs
Investor Relations
- Maintain relationships with existing LPs and provide regular updates on fund performance and portfolio developments
- Address LP inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Organize and host LP meetings, events, and conference calls
Network Expansion
- Continuously expand and strengthen your network within the investment community to identify new potential LPs
- Represent UGF at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance our brand and attract new LPs
Required Qualifications
- Established book of clients and proven ability to leverage existing relationships to drive capital commitments.
- Proven track record of successfully raising private equity or venture capital funds
- 5+ years experience in capital raising and investor relations, preferably in the technology sector
- Robust network and connections within the high-net-worth, family office, and institutional investment communities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred
